Perform each step below if the previous step did not help in solving the problem.
1) Try to deactivate the previous product key following the instructions (relevant for all versions of Windows) and then try to activate the new product key.
2) Run a command prompt as administrator. Type in search CMD => Open as administrator
After that, type the following command in the terminal and press “Enter” on your keyboard:
cscript %windir%\System32\slmgr.vbs /ilc %windir%\System32\licensing\ppdlic\Security-Licensing-SLC-ppdlic.xrm–ms
The system will then prompt you to reboot. After rebooting, try to activate the new product key again.
3) Try to activate your key from the terminal using the following instructions.
4) If all of the above methods did not work. Then the Windows phone activation option will work. But you will need to make a phone call yourself and perform activation with the help of a phone bot.
